Pet Grooming
We pride ourselves on the quality and care we provide every dog and cat: scented and unscented shampoos and conditioners, hypoallergenic shampoos for sensitive skin, and a gentle, caring technique. We try to make the grooming experience as stress-free and quick as possible. We encourage you to make an appointment in advance, and we'll call you as soon as your dog is ready for pick-up. Running late? We provide pick-up and delivery service in New Trier Township as well.

Dog Training
Carlos Almazo is a certified dog trainer with a successful track and true understanding of canine behavior. He provides personalized training and behavior problem-solving through reinforcement and shaping. He has extensive, and first-hand, experience with aggression issues and helping shy, fearful dogs.

Boarding
Our Dog Hotel is located in Jefferson Park which is only 20 minutes from Northfield, our clients can be brought to our Grooming store and we will take care of transport them in our Van comfortably equipped with cages. The dogs will spend the day playing and socializing, always under the supervision of our staff in order to avoid any type of conflict between them. The hotel has cages, which are only used during mealtime and when it is time to sleep. For us it is very important that our guests have a lot of freedom and an excellent experience of time with their four-legged friends.

LovingCare does not quote grooming rates over the phone. We prefer to see the dog and then give an estimate. LovingCare is not an “a la carte” shop; our grooming price includes nails, teeth, anal glands, shampoo, brushing and de-shedding. We do charge extra for matted dogs.
LovingCare uses the finest shampoos and conditioners. Our shampoos are both scented and unscented. LovingCare also stocks specialty shampoos for dry skin and other dog allergies. Customers may also supply their own shampoo.
We prefer that customers call for appointments, even same day. We always do our best to accommodate our customers.
Yes, and we use a special shampoo specifically for skunked dogs, not a hydrogen peroxide/baking soda solution. We charge an additional fee for this service.
We request at least 4 hours, but sometimes it can take more or less than that. Upon check-in, leave a contact number and we will call you when your dog is ready. LovingCare has no intention of keeping your dog waiting
Yes, but in New Trier Township only. There is a fee for both pick up and delivery (glencoe $8, Winnetka $8, Kenilworth $10, Northfield $6 and Glenview $15). We prefer that you let us know in advance if you require this service.
